Key Responsibilities
- Surface preparation: Cleaning, sanding, repairing dents, and masking.
- Primer application: Applying etching, high-build, or sealing primers for adhesion and corrosion protection.
- Basecoat spraying: Applying color coats evenly and accurately.
- Clearcoat finishing: Sealing and protecting paintwork with gloss and UV resistance.
- Polishing and detailing: Buffing and finishing for quality results. 6. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Education/Training in Body works (Trade Test Grade / Diploma or higher)
- Proven experience in automotive painting and refinishing.
- Knowledge of paint mixing, spraying techniques, and finishing processes
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
