Role Overview
This role turns architects’ sketches and engineering drawings into clear, finished drawings for building or civil engineering projects. The work depends on accurately understanding both the architectural intent and the related engineering details so they are reflected together in the final drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret architects’ sketches and translate them into finished drawings.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings relevant to the architectural sketches.
- Incorporate engineering information into finished drawings while maintaining consistency with the architectural design.
- Review sketches and supporting drawings to ensure the details needed for completion are understood.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Technician Certificate Part III in Building or Civil Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Qualification must be from a recognised institution.
- Ability to interpret architects’ sketches and read engineering drawings.
