Role Overview
This role supports the measurement and cost documentation of construction work. You will help turn project drawings and specifications into bills of quantities, prepare technical specifications, and assist with payment certification so that project costs and work completed can be assessed accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and square dimensions from construction drawings and other relevant documents.
- Abstract measured quantities for use in preparing bills of quantities.
- Assist with compiling and checking bills of quantities.
- Prepare specifications for construction work and materials.
- Support the preparation of payment certificates by helping verify quantities and work completed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- The qualification must be from a recognized institution.
