A growing organization in the UAE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Engineer – Water Quality Services (WQS) to support its field and technical operations. This opportunity is ideal for early-career professionals who have practical exposure to water treatment processes, chemical analysis, and on-site engineering work.
The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining water quality standards, optimizing treatment programs, and supporting both technical operations and client requirements. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct on-site water testing including pH, ORP, chlorine, and conductivity measurements
• Monitor treatment system performance and recommend improvements where necessary
• Install, inspect, and evaluate corrosion coupons and corrosion rates
• Calibrate and maintain online monitoring and measurement instruments
• Implement and manage chemical treatment programs for various systems
• Work on treatment solutions for:
• Cooling systems (open and closed loop)
• Boiler systems
• Domestic water systems
• Optimize system efficiency while controlling operational costs
• Assist with system startups and troubleshoot technical issues
• Prepare detailed service reports and technical documentation
• Support trials, system validation, and performance monitoring activities
• Coordinate with internal teams and assist in meeting client requirements
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
• Report incidents and ensure full compliance with company standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in water treatment or chemical services
• Strong understanding of water analysis and treatment techniques
• Good problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in field-based and site environments
• Candidates must currently be available within the UAE
