Misak Commercial Broker is hiring an experienced, customer-focused Assistant Team Leader to support and grow our Credit Card and Personal Loan operations. You’ll coach a high-performing team, drive sales and portfolio quality, ensure compliance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Team Leader in day-to-day management of credit card and personal loan sales and servicing teams.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members; conduct performance reviews and training.
  • Drive sales targets through pipeline management, cross-sell/up-sell strategies, and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee application processing, credit assessments, documentation, and timely disbursal.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and AML/KYC standards.
  • Handle escalations and complex customer complaints; liaise with credit, risk, collections, and compliance teams.
  • Produce regular operational and performance reports; recommend process optimizations.
  • Participate in recruitment, rostering, and workforce planning when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in retail banking, credit cards, or personal loans; 1+ year in a supervisory/lead role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, loan lifecycle, collections best practices, and regulatory compliance.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven leadership and people-management skills.
  • Target-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient with loan origination/CRM systems and MS Office (Excel).
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
