Activation Lead - Eastern Region

Job Title: Activation Team Lead

Reports to: Area Sales Manager

Job Purpose

To focus on channel visitations that drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float, while ensuring visibility and merchandising at point of purchase for SSOs and T‑Kash agents.

Key Responsibilities

• SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping – Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high‑traffic retail stores.
• Call Rate – Visit SSOs and agents regularly using agreed route plans (beat plans).
• Training & Delivery of Business Tools – Provide all requisite tools for transactions at SSO and agent outlets, and train SSOs and T‑Kash agents on processes.
• AML Training & Testing – Train agents on Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) and train SSOs on KYC processes related to SIM registration.
• Float & Stock Cover & Sales – Monitor and effectively enforce the 1.5× stock rule for agents; ensure SSOs have adequate SIM stock for new registration and activations.
• Merchandising – Develop and maintain merchandising standards by availing merchandising materials at SSO and agent outlets.

Qualifications & Experience

Academic & Professional

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in van sales or a similar sales role.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a sales and distribution role within an FMCG or Telecoms company.
