Acoustic Application Engineer

Kinetics Group is expanding its team and is currently seeking an Acoustic Application Engineer to support innovative acoustic and noise control projects. This opportunity is well suited for engineers who are passionate about mechanical acoustics, sound engineering solutions, and technical problem-solving within engineering environments.

The selected candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of effective acoustic solutions while collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical and performance standards. The role requires strong analytical abilities, technical expertise, and the capability to develop accurate documentation and reports related to acoustic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform acoustic calculations and design practical noise mitigation and sound control solutions
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders throughout project phases
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, engineering calculations, and compliance reports
• Support project execution by ensuring acoustic solutions meet required standards and specifications
• Assist in evaluating project requirements and recommending suitable acoustic applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–3 years of professional experience in mechanical acoustics or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical thinking and technical problem-solving abilities
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams
