Osprey Interiors is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with UAE accounting experience, particularly those who have worked in contracting, construction, or interior fit-out companies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring VAT compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records. Candidates should be able to work independently while efficiently handling multiple accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow statements.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate account balances.
• Prepare invoices and ensure timely financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Maintain proper financial records using Zoho Books.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Experience in a contracting, construction, or interior fit-out company is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books.
• Good understanding of VAT, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage accounting activities efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Zoho Books and accounting software.
• UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
• Financial reporting, cash flow management, and bank reconciliation.
