Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to manage the safe conveyance of staff, raw materials, finished products, and equipment in Ukunda. The ideal candidate will maintain vehicles in excellent condition, perform minor repairs, adhere to traffic rules, and keep detailed records of travel and maintenance. This role also involves supporting logistical operations and providing dependable transportation services to staff and business partners as directed by supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convey staff, materials, and equipment to designated locations on time

• Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of vehicles, inside and out

• Inspect vehicles for defects before and after trips, and report issues

• Maintain travel logs and records of vehicle maintenance

• Report any accidents, injuries, or damages promptly to the supervisor

• Perform minor vehicle maintenance including refueling, oil changes, battery checks, and basic repairs

• Identify mechanical or electrical faults and coordinate repairs with supervisors

• Drop and pick up staff and business partners from events, airports, and offices

• Comply with all traffic rules and company policies

• Support other logistical tasks as directed by the supervisor

Key Requirements:

• Minimum KCSE certificate

• At least 5 years of driving experience, preferably with truck driving experience

• Valid driving license – Categories C and D1

• Certificate of good conduct

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Familiarity with logistics operations and documentation is a plus
