Description:
DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Data Entry Associate to join its operations team in Laredo, Texas. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily warehouse activities by ensuring accurate data entry, shipment tracking, and documentation throughout the freight handling process.
The successful candidate will maintain shipment records, process warehouse documentation, communicate with warehouse personnel, and ensure inventory information remains accurate and up to date. Key Responsibilities:
• Enter and update shipment information, including merchandise details, shipper and consignee information, piece counts, and shipment weights.
• Create and maintain internal reference numbers for all inbound freight.
• Review and process shipment instructions received from shippers and consignees via email.
• Verify that all entered data is accurate, complete, and supported by appropriate documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to confirm cargo receipt, processing, and shipment status.
• Update shipment records after warehouse operations have been completed.
• Process, organize, and return documentation following freight handling activities.
• Maintain organized digital and physical shipment records.
• Support inventory accuracy through timely and precise data entry.
• Identify data discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate team members.
• Perform additional warehouse administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based data entry systems.
• Experience using warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of warehouse or logistics operations is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Data Entry, Shipment Documentation, and Inventory Records
• Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Warehouse Operations, Logistics Processes, and Record Management
