Role Overview
As a Content Creator at Choice Bank, you will be the driving force behind short-form video and digital storytelling that makes financial topics feel human, relatable, and worth watching. Working inside the Marketing & Communications team, you will take ideas from rough concept to finished cut — writing scripts, operating cameras, editing footage, and often stepping in front of the lens yourself. Your work directly shapes how customers and online audiences perceive the bank, turning products, services, and everyday money moments into content that people actually want to engage with.
Key Responsibilities
- Brainstorm, write, and refine creative treatments, scripts, and narrative arcs for short films and digital video series.
- Capture and edit video content tailored to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other emerging social platforms.
- Produce stories that connect with audiences around personal finance, small business, entrepreneurship, fintech developments, and real customer experiences.
- Create a mix of formats including product walkthroughs, customer testimonials, comedic skits, interviews, and branded campaign pieces.
- Stay on top of social media trends, sounds, and formats, and find smart ways to adapt them for the bank’s brand voice.
- Partner closely with marketing colleagues to translate campaign goals and brand ideas into engaging visual content.
- Track how content performs across channels and use those insights to sharpen future creative work.
- Appear on camera when needed, bringing energy and authenticity to the bank’s digital presence.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Film Production, Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- One to three years of hands-on experience in content creation, filmmaking, video production, or digital media roles.
- Strong storytelling instincts paired with practical skills in filming, scriptwriting, and video editing.
- Comfort using editing and post-production tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or comparable software.
- A creative, high-energy approach and willingness to work both behind and in front of the camera.
- Solid grasp of social media trends and what makes digital audiences tick.
- Background in fintech, banking, or financial services is a plus.
- Candidates should be ready to share a portfolio or links to previous work — especially short films, reels, TikToks, skits, branded videos, or other storytelling projects.
