Job Title: Virtual Learning & Tech Training Lead

Gross Salary: KShs. 180,000 – 200,000 per month

Location: Kenya (remote/virtual focus, with national reach)

Job Summary

Our client is a training institution specializing in digital programs seeking a Virtual Learning & Tech Training Lead to plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of its virtual learning and tech training programs. You will manage training schedules, deliver high‑quality content, run tech boot camps, support trainers, build partnerships, and ensure programs meet their learning and participation goals, with a strong focus on increasing the participation of young women.

Key Responsibilities

Program Planning & Execution

  • Plan the overall Virtual Training Program, including special groups, boot camps, and monitor progress to achieve minimum monthly training targets.

  • Run end‑to‑end tech boot camps for learners/students, ensuring high engagement and 90% course completion.

  • Drive publicity, mobilization, and partnerships for virtual learning to meet enrollment targets.

  • Ensure high‑quality training delivery and strong learning outcomes across all virtual trainings and mentorship tracks.

  • Coordinate content/curriculum delivery, awareness campaigns, and external partnerships.

Training Coordination & Meetings

  • Conduct regular trainers’ meetings to agree on training structures, methods, and improvement recommendations.

  • Plan and coordinate monthly and quarterly training calendars, activities, and trainers’ rosters for smooth execution.

Program Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate trainers and training teams, lead regular meetings, and represent the institution at stakeholder forums.

  • Provide leadership and support to trainers (check‑ins, calls, guidance on performance management and appraisals).

Women & Youth Empowerment Initiatives

  • Coordinate and plan women‑focused events, digital‑work series, and webinars to increase young women’s registration, targeting 70% women participation.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance young women’s access to jobs, apprenticeships, and skills development opportunities.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Curriculum Improvement

  • Collect and coordinate feedback through surveys, focus groups, and success stories.

  • Recommend curriculum improvements and drive curriculum‑development processes.

  • Develop and implement tools for continuous program improvement, ensuring learners receive strong technical, soft, and hard‑skills training.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on program performance and activities.

  • Align program activities with organizational objectives and other departments.

  • Adhere to organizational policies, local legislation, and cultural norms, acting with diligence and integrity.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Technology, or related IT programsMaster’s or PhD is an added advantage.

  • 7–10 years of experience in training/education, with at least 5 years in virtual learning, tech training, and program management in a technology education setting.

  • Relevant technology or IT certifications are highly desirable.

  • Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with a proven track record managing trainers or training programs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on training programs.

  • Knowledge and experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and designing programs for youth and women‑focused initiatives is a plus.

  • Ability to drive partnerships, run boot camps end‑to‑end, and ensure high learner engagement and completion rates.
