Role Overview
This Digital Advertising Coordinator manages paid and organic campaigns across Meta, Google, and other platforms to drive farmer awareness and conversion for Tupande’s products and services. Day to day, the role involves planning, executing, and analysing digital ads, collaborating with design and field teams to produce tailored content, and tracking campaign performance to inform strategy. The position directly supports the business’s growth by ensuring consistent brand messaging and efficient customer acquisition through digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram (Meta Business Suite), Google Ads, Twitter Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, from setup to optimisation and reporting.
- Work with the design and field communications teams to create and localise engaging ad creatives that prompt online audiences to take desired actions (e.g., sign-ups, product inquiries).
- Research and test emerging digital platforms and ad formats to boost return on investment (ROI) and social return on investment (SROI) for the business.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), and produce step-back reports after each campaign to guide future marketing decisions.
- Compile monthly sentiment and progress reports that capture farmer discussions online, sharing insights with relevant teams to enable quick pivots and improve customer experience.
- Develop and manage the digital advertising calendar, ensuring alignment with the broader organisational schedule.
- Define the organic content pillars for social media, coordinating with global communications and field teams to ensure relevance and consistency.
- Map out and execute program-specific digital projects, tailoring them to meet country programme goals and target audience needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in digital marketing, with a focus on paid advertising across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and other platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Hands-on proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Google Ads Manager, and ad reporting/iteration tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data and generate actionable insights from KPIs.
- A creative eye for crafting compelling visual and written content, combined with a deep understanding of social media behaviours across different regions of Kenya.
- Familiarity with the Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for planning, reporting, and collaboration.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams (design, field communications, global communications) and external partners to meet shared objectives.
- Excellent project management skills to juggle multiple campaigns, calendars, and deadlines simultaneously.
