Role Overview
This role puts you on the front line of our sales operation, directing a team of market activators who engage customers face to face every day. You will translate revenue goals into daily route plans, individual targets, and coaching moments that keep the team sharp, compliant, and motivated. Expect a blend of office-based planning and field-based ride-alongs, with longer hours during peak campaign periods — your leadership directly determines how quickly we grow our customer base and how consistently we deliver a professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily stand-ups and debriefs to set priorities, review yesterday's numbers, and remove obstacles that slow the team down.
- Set individual and team sales targets, then track progress against them using daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards.
- Spend time in the field or on calls with each activator to observe their pitch, give real-time feedback, and model best practices.
- Build development plans for new hires and struggling performers, including product refreshers, objection-handling drills, and role-play exercises.
- Step in on complex or escalated customer issues, resolve them quickly, and turn the outcome into a learning point for the team.
- Audit sales paperwork, activations, and customer interactions to ensure they meet internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Compile and send daily productivity reports to senior management, highlighting wins, gaps, and recommended fixes.
- Coordinate the roll-out of new campaigns, promotions, or product launches so every activator understands the offer and how to sell it.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least five years of hands-on sales experience, with a documented history of hitting or exceeding targets.
- A minimum of one year supervising, coaching, or leading a sales team — formal team lead or supervisory title preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in business administration, marketing, sales, or a comparable discipline.
- Comfort with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for building performance trackers, pivot tables, and presentation decks.
- Familiarity with sales reporting software or CRM tools that track KPIs such as conversion rate, average deal size, and daily call or visit volume.
- Proven ability to train adults: you can break down a sales technique, demonstrate it, and give feedback that sticks.
- Strong analytical instincts — you spot a downward trend in the numbers and know which questions to ask before it becomes a problem.
- Excellent communication in person and in writing, plus the resilience to keep a team motivated through rejection and pressure.
