Job Purpose
To ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining vehicle condition, compliance with traffic laws, and accurate delivery documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company trucks safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Transport goods to assigned destinations within agreed timelines
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip) and report any faults or issues immediately
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and offloading of goods to prevent damage or loss
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including logbooks, fuel usage, and delivery notes
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules unless otherwise directed
- Ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle
- Report accidents, delays, or incidents promptly to management
- Support compliance with company safety standards and transport regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driving license (Class C and C1)
- Minimum of 3–4 years’ proven experience as a truck driver
- Minimum KCSE (Secondary School Certificate)
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes
- Clean driving record (no major traffic offenses)

- Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage (to identify minor issues early)

- Physically fit and able to handle loading/offloading where required
