Teacher/Tutor Position

About the Role

We are seeking qualified and dedicated teachers/tutors to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in their subject area, preparing students for examinations, and contributing to a positive learning environment. This role requires a strong commitment to educational excellence and adherence to professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in the relevant subject area in line with the syllabus and examination requirements.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
  • Uphold the code of conduct and professional ethics as established by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or Public Service Commission.

Qualifications and Requirements

Interested applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a practicing teacher/tutor in the relevant subject areas at the level of examination or above.
  • Be registered and/or employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or Public Service Commission.
  • Hold a Diploma in Education or higher qualification.
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.
  • Not be on interdiction or any other form of disciplinary action by the TSC/employer.
  • Be recommended by the Head of Institution.
  • Be 50 years of age or below.
