Job Description

Job Title: Teacher/Tutor (Various Subject Areas)

We are seeking qualified and practicing teachers/tutors to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate must meet the rigorous standards set by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or Public Service Commission and demonstrate a proven track record of effective teaching at the relevant examination level or above.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in the assigned subject area(s) at the required level of examination or above.
  • Plan, prepare, and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to foster student success.
  • Uphold professional standards and adhere to TSC/employer policies and code of conduct.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be a practicing teacher/tutor in the relevant subject area(s) at the level of examination or above.
  • Must be registered and/or employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or the Public Service Commission.
  • Must hold a Diploma in Education or higher qualification.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.
  • Must NOT be on interdiction or any other form of disciplinary action by the TSC or employer.
  • Must be recommended by the Head of Institution.
  • Must be 50 years of age or below at the time of application.
