Position Summary

Queensway Escapades is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Tour & Travel Consultant to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. This role is designed for a professional who possesses a deep passion for the travel industry and a proven track record in both domestic and international sales. You will be responsible for crafting bespoke travel experiences, managing the end-to-end booking process, and leveraging social media to drive brand awareness. The Role

Sales & Business Development

  • Aggressively promote and sell diverse travel packages to both individual travelers and corporate accounts.

  • Proactively identify new market opportunities and generate high-quality leads to expand the client base.

  • Cultivate and sustain long-term client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.

  • Provide expert, tailored advice on global destinations, visa requirements, and travel insurance.

Itinerary Design & Administrative Precision

  • Conceptualize and design customized travel itineraries that align with client preferences and budget constraints.

  • Prepare accurate and competitive travel quotations with a high attention to detail.

  • Manage all booking documentation, ensuring client records are updated and compliant with company policy.

  • Stay current with travel regulations and international safety protocols to ensure seamless client experiences.

Digital Presence & Brand Management

  • Oversee and manage the company’s social media platforms to engage with the target audience.

  • Monitor industry trends and implement digital marketing strategies to boost online visibility.

  • Create compelling content that showcases local and international destinations.

Candidate Profile

Professional Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Tourism Management or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Travel Consultant.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using modern travel booking systems and digital marketing tools.

  • Sector Knowledge: A strong background in both Kenyan and international travel markets.

Essential Criteria

  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

  • Autonomy: Ability to work efficiently and meet targets in a remote setup with minimal supervision.

  • Organization: High-level administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple complex bookings simultaneously.
