Description:

FVC is currently seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Technical Consultant – UCC & AV to join its Dubai-based team. This role is designed for professionals with strong presales expertise and in-depth technical knowledge in Audio-Visual (AV) and Unified Communication & Collaboration (UCC) technologies.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales function and channel ecosystem by delivering well-designed technical solutions, conducting presentations, and assisting with proof-of-concept demonstrations. The position demands both strategic solution design capabilities and hands-on technical skills to support installations and system validation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and interpret client requirements to develop customized AV and collaboration solutions
• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and solution presentations
• Contribute to client meetings, respond to RFPs/RFQs, and assist in preparing competitive bid submissions
• Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and channel partners to ensure seamless project execution
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical briefings, and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions
• Support design validation, documentation processes, and provide remote installation assistance
• Remain up to date with emerging AV and UCC technologies, trends, and industry advancements

Key Requirements:
• 5–8 years of experience in AV/UCC presales, solution consulting, or related technical roles
• Strong expertise in Video Conferencing technologies (including Cisco solutions)
• Hands-on knowledge of Control Systems such as Crestron, AMX, and Extron
• Experience working with Digital Signage platforms and Audio DSP systems
• Proficiency in AV design tools including AutoCAD, Visio, D-Tools, or similar applications
• Solid understanding of AV over IP, networking fundamentals, and system integration
• Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and technical documentation skills
• Practical experience in installation, configuration, programming, and troubleshooting
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site

Preferred Certifications:
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
• Crestron or Extron certifications
• Other relevant vendor certifications in AV/UCC technologies
