Beyond the classroom, you will support the wider school community by leading a co-curricular activity and working closely with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.

  • Incorporate modern, 21st-century teaching strategies, including digital tools, inquiry-based learning, and differentiated instruction.
  • Assess student performance through a variety of methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support academic growth.
  • Create a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment that encourages students to engage actively in their learning.
  • Work with fellow teachers to share resources, plan cross-curricular learning opportunities, and maintain consistent academic standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and progress, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide activities as required.
  • Lead or support at least one co-curricular activity, helping students develop skills and interests outside the academic curriculum.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), a recognised teaching degree, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A minimum of two years' experience teaching the British International Curriculum, including preparation for IGCSE and/or A Level examinations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to student safeguarding and wellbeing.
