Role Overview
This role supports civil and building projects by preparing technical drawings for structures, drainage systems, roads and paved areas. The postholder also carries out straightforward survey work with guidance from a senior officer, helping project teams develop accurate plans and details for construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare civil and structural drawings for project work.
- Produce reinforcement and other detailing for concrete structures.
- Prepare steel structure details for construction documentation.
- Draw layouts and details for drainage schemes.
- Prepare plans and details for roads and paved areas.
- Carry out basic survey tasks under the direction of a senior officer.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Building, or a Construction Technician Certificate Part III.
- Alternatively, an equivalent relevant qualification from a recognised institution.
