Job Title: MEP Storekeeper

Company Overview

LiJan Insulation Contracting LLC, the flagship company of the LiJan Group established in 2004, is a reputed contracting and trading company based in Dubai, UAE. We provide turnkey solutions in all types of hot/cold insulation and renewable energy services. We are currently looking to hire a skilled and responsible MEP Storekeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• ERP Inventory Management: Accurately record all incoming and outgoing materials, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments within the company’s ERP system in real time.
• Receiving & Inspection: Receive MEP materials (HVAC, sheet metal) and verify them against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Notes for quantity and quality.
• Storage & Organization: Properly organize, label, and store materials according to safety standards to ensure easy accessibility and prevent damage or theft.
• Issuance: Issue materials and tools to site engineers and sub-contractors based on approved material requisitions and update the ERP system instantly.
• Stock Auditing: Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits, reconciling physical stock with ERP records and reporting discrepancies.
• Reorder Management: Monitor stock levels, track fast-moving items, and coordinate with the Procurement Department to initiate reorder requests before shortages occur.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and proper organization.
• Perform stock counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to company policies and industry safety standards. Ensure proper use of equipment and PPE.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, specifically within MEP construction projects.
• Technical Skills: Proven hands-on experience working with ERP software (Zoho, MS Dynamics, or equivalent).
• Material Knowledge: Strong familiarity with MEP materials, including HVAC equipment, thermal insulation material, and sheet metal fasteners.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Pay: AED 2,000.00 – AED 2,500.00 per month
