About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Skincare Consultants to join our team in Nairobi. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about skin health and beauty who enjoy building relationships, educating clients, and driving sales in a high‑end skincare environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Consultation & Skin Analysis

Conduct in‑depth skin assessments using visual evaluation and, where available, diagnostic tools.

Identify skin types and common conditions such as acne, hyperpigmentation, sensitivity, aging, and dehydration.

Develop personalized skincare routines that match client goals, lifestyle, and budget.
Product Recommendation & Retail Sales

Recommend suitable skincare products and treatment plans based on detailed assessments.

Use consultative selling techniques to guide clients toward the right solutions and drive sales.

Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Client Experience & Relationship Management

Deliver a premium, luxury client experience from first contact through follow‑up.

Build strong, long‑term relationships to encourage repeat visits and client retention.

Handle client inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care.
Skincare Education & Advisory

Educate clients on daily skincare routines, key ingredients, and proper product usage.

Stay updated on skincare trends, new technologies, and product innovations.

Provide aftercare guidance and monitor client progress over time.
Brand Representation & Professional Standards

Maintain a polished, well‑groomed appearance suitable for a high‑end beauty environment.

Uphold brand values, image, and service standards at all times.

Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper handling of products and equipment.
Record Keeping & Reporting

Maintain accurate client consultation records and purchase history.

Track sales performance, client visits, and engagement metrics.

Provide feedback on product performance and client preferences to the team.
Team Collaboration & Operations Support

Work closely with therapists, dermatologists (if applicable), and retail staff for seamless service.

Support store/clinic operations, including stock awareness, reordering, and merchandising.

Participate in training sessions, promotional campaigns, and marketing activities.
Key Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, Dermatology, or a related skincare field.

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a skincare‑related setting (clinic, spa, dermatology center, pharmacy, or premium retail).

Strong understanding of skin types, conditions, and skincare product categories.

Proven ability to assess skin concerns and recommend effective, tailored solutions.

Excellent communication, consultation, and customer service skills.

Sales‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Well‑groomed, presentable, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
