Role Overview

This showroom sales role focuses on welcoming walk-in customers, understanding their furnishing needs, and guiding them toward suitable products. Day to day, you’ll manage the showroom floor, keep displays appealing, and follow up on leads—all while consistently hitting personal and team sales targets. Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist every customer who enters the showroom, offering product demonstrations and style advice.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas by closing deals on furniture, accessories, and home décor items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually inviting showroom layout to enhance the shopping experience.
• Record customer preferences and follow up on potential sales leads through calls or messages.
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms within company guidelines to finalize transactions.
• Collaborate with the team to restock inventory, tag new arrivals, and rotate floor displays.
• Resolve customer concerns or returns professionally, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Track daily sales performance and report on slow-moving items or popular trends to the manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, ideally within furniture, home furnishings, or a related lifestyle category.
• Proven ability to achieve and surpass individual sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and persuasion skills, comfortable engaging strangers quickly.
• Strong negotiation instincts—able to balance customer satisfaction with margin goals.
• A customer-first attitude: patient, attentive, and solution-oriented even during busy periods.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for logging leads and generating simple reports.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training or certifications are a plus.
