Description:
Nexus People is partnering with a respected engineering consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Resident Engineer for the supervision and successful delivery of prestigious high-rise and luxury hospitality developments in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for a highly accomplished engineering professional with extensive consultancy experience and a proven record of leading complex construction projects.
The successful candidate will oversee project execution from construction through final handover while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, engineering standards, and quality requirements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to some of Dubai’s most iconic developments while working with a well-established consultancy team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the supervision and delivery of high-rise and luxury hospitality construction projects.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project progress from construction through testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and industry best practices.
• Review project documentation, technical reports, and construction procedures.
• Provide technical leadership while maintaining project quality, safety, and schedule objectives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Master’s Degree is considered an advantage.
• Minimum 30 years of professional experience in construction supervision and engineering consultancy.
• At least 20 years of UAE experience, with Dubai experience preferred.
• Proven experience delivering high-rise developments of 40+ floors; experience with 60+ floor towers is highly preferred.
• Experience managing luxury hotel developments from construction through project handover.
• Valid Dubai Municipality Unlimited Engineer License is mandatory.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Strong knowledge of:
• UAE construction regulations and engineering standards.
• FIDIC contracts and contract administration.
• High-rise and luxury hospitality project supervision.
• Construction management, quality assurance, and project handover processes.
