Job Description

Senior Multimedia Designer

Role Purpose

The Senior Multimedia Designer delivers high‑quality static, motion, video and campaign assets while contributing practical execution input, improving templates and supporting junior creatives. The role is expected to handle complex work with limited supervision and support delivery of client‑ready creative output.

Key Responsibilities

High‑quality creative execution

  • Produce static designs, motion graphics, video edits, animations, layouts, campaign assets and presentation visuals.
  • Execute complex or high‑value tasks in line with approved creative direction and brand guidelines.
  • Perform self‑review before submission to reduce errors and rework.

Brief interpretation and execution planning

  • Review assigned briefs and clarify gaps early with the Head of Studio/AD.
  • Recommend suitable formats, sizes, styles, tools and production approaches.
  • Flag technical risks, missing assets or unrealistic timelines early.

Speed, SLA and task discipline

  • Plan daily workload based on Monday.com priorities and SLA deadlines.
  • Update task statuses, progress and blockers promptly.
  • Deliver work within agreed timelines while maintaining quality.

Collaboration and presentation support

  • Work with Client Service, Digital, Creative and Production teams as required.
  • Prepare neat working files, presentation materials and export formats.
  • Support client/internal presentations where execution detail is needed.

Process improvement and reusable assets

  • Develop templates, reusable layouts, animation presets, file structures and asset libraries.
  • Suggest workflow improvements that reduce turnaround time and maintain consistency.
  • Apply new tools and best practices from learning to real work.

Junior support and mentoring

  • Review selected junior work and provide practical guidance.
  • Share tips, shortcuts, references and technical improvements.
  • Support team learning without becoming a bottleneck.

Skills & Competencies

Education & Experience

  • Minimum diploma or degree in graphic design, multimedia design, motion graphics, animation, visual communication, digital media, creative arts or a related field.
  • 3‑5 years of agency, creative production, design, motion, multimedia or related experience, with strong portfolio evidence.

Technical Proficiency

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign where applicable, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Familiar with Google Workspace, Monday.com and digital platform formats.

Design & Motion Skills

  • Static design, layout, typography, colour, brand application, motion graphics, animation, basic video editing, export formats and asset adaptation.

Copy & Communication

  • Ability to write and refine simple captions, headlines, presentation wording, supers, basic scripts and content suggestions where required.

Work Ethic & Behaviours

  • Speed, attention to detail, self‑review, deadline management, file organisation, communication of blockers and ownership.
  • Creative, proactive, reliable, flexible, collaborative, open to critique, calm under pressure and committed to continuous improvement.
