Job Title: Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Environmental Law

Egerton University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the above positions in the Department of Environmental Law.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Option 1: PhD Path
- An earned PhD in Environmental Law from a recognised university.
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or research/industry experience as a Lecturer.
Option 2: Master’s Degree Path
- A Master’s degree in Environmental Law from a recognised university.
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed journals.
- Have supervised a minimum of two (2) post-graduate students to completion as a Lecturer.
- Be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
- Have the minimum points required for each activity.
Salary Scale
- Senior Lecturer Grade 13: Kshs. 154,739.00 – Kshs. 238,221.00
- Lecturer Grade 12: Kshs. 121,928.00 – Kshs. 187,710.00
- Grant Officer Grade 12: Kshs. 119,858.00 – Kshs. 184,523.00
