Academic and Professional Requirements
Applicants MUST meet one of the following tracks:
Track 1
- An earned PhD in Environmental Law from a recognised university.
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or research/industry experience as a Lecturer.
Track 2
- Master’s degree in Environmental Law from a recognised university.
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed journals.
- Supervised a minimum of two (2) postgraduate students to completion as a Lecturer.
- Be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
- Have the minimum points required for each activity.
Salary Scale
- Senior Lecturer Grade 13: Kshs.154,739.00 – Kshs.238,221.00
- Lecturer Grade 12: Kshs.121,928.00 – Kshs.187,710.00
- Grant Officer Grade 12: Kshs.119,858.00 – Kshs.184,523.00
