Description:
Milaya Capital is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its team in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who have a strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end closing processes.
The ideal candidate will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Applicants with previous experience in the salon or hospitality industry will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely month-end closing activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor company expenses and contribute to cost control initiatives.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide the required documentation and support during audit processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
