We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance functions while mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end preparation of timely financial statements and variance analysis.
- Oversee general ledger functions, including reconciliations and month-end close activities.
- Ensure full compliance with tax and statutory requirements across all operations.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and provide actionable financial recommendations to management.
- Coordinate robust internal and external audit processes.
- Investigate and resolve complex accounting discrepancies with accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor, guide, and support junior accounting staff to build a high-performing team.
- Leverage ERP systems to improve reporting quality, controls, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (BA/BSc/HND).
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance.
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
