Role Overview
Contrarian Capital is hiring an outbound Sales Representative to grow its Australian B2B client base from our Nairobi office. This role is the front end of the firm's growth engine: you spend your shift on the phone and on LinkedIn, starting conversations with Australian business owners and professionals who need accounting, tax, and migration support. Because our clients operate on Australian time, this position runs overnight East Africa Time, putting you live in the middle of their business day.
Key Responsibilities
- Place 50+ outbound calls per shift to cold and warm Australian prospects, supplemented by video outreach and personalized LinkedIn messages.
- Present Contrarian Capital's accounting, tax compliance, and visa/migration services clearly and confidently, tailoring the pitch to each prospect's situation.
- Recruit and onboard referral partners, finance brokers, and industry introducers who can channel new client opportunities to the firm.
- Secure qualified strategy sessions and consultation bookings for senior consultants and practice leaders.
- Work a disciplined follow-up cadence, logging every call outcome, note, and pipeline movement in the CRM.
- Negotiate with interested prospects and push deals toward close, tracking weekly activity metrics against monthly sales targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in outbound B2B sales, tele-sales, cold calling, or business development.
- Uncompromised availability for the on-premises night shift: 1:00 AM – 10:00 AM EAT, Monday to Friday.
- Fluent, clear, and confident English — both spoken and written — appropriate for corporate Australian counterparties.
- Resilience and high energy, with the objection-handling skills to keep conversations moving toward a close.
- Strong self-organization: able to run a high-volume lead pipeline independently, without close supervision.
- Quick to absorb complex service models across Australian financial, accounting, and migration matters.
What We Offer / Why Join
- Net base pay of KES 25,000 – KES 35,000 per month, set according to your experience level.
- Uncapped monthly commission tied directly to your performance.
- Comprehensive onboarding that builds your knowledge of Australian tax, accounting, and migration regulations.
- A stable Monday-to-Friday schedule aligned to Australian business hours, based on-site at our Nairobi office.
