Role Overview
Contrarian Capital is growing its presence among Australian individuals and businesses that need accounting, tax, migration, and financial advisory support. This role places you at the front of that effort, where you will spend each shift starting conversations with prospects, explaining service options, and arranging meetings for senior advisers. What you do directly shapes the firm’s client pipeline, so your ability to open doors and keep momentum high has a clear impact on revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Place 50 or more outbound calls each workday to prospective Australian clients, using phone, Zoom, and LinkedIn to initiate contact.
- Present Contrarian Capital’s tax compliance, accounting, and visa or migration advisory services in a way that fits each prospect’s needs.
- Identify and approach referral partners such as mortgage brokers, financial introducers, and other external professionals, then bring them into the firm’s network.
- Secure qualified consultation bookings for senior tax advisers and financial consultants.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records for every lead, interaction, and next step.
- Follow up consistently with warm and cold prospects, guiding them through the sales funnel toward a closed engagement.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for call volume, lead generation, and conversion.
- Provide management with regular updates on pipeline activity, deal progress, and revenue forecasts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum diploma-level education in business, sales, marketing, or a closely related field.
- 1–3 years of proven experience in outbound telesales, B2B sales, or business development; international call center experience is a strong advantage.
- Fluent, clear spoken and written English suitable for conversations with Australian professionals.
- Willingness and ability to work on-premises Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM–1:00 PM EAT, aligned with Australian business hours.
- Self-driven and resilient approach, with the ability to handle rejection and sustain high outbound activity.
- Disciplined organization for CRM pipeline tracking, daily follow-ups, and activity reporting.
- Capacity to quickly learn complex Australian tax, accounting, and migration framework concepts.
