Role Overview
This role places you at the heart of a Karen-based real estate company's land sales operation, where you will hunt for qualified buyers, lead property tours, and push transactions from first contact to signed agreement. Ten representatives are being brought on to handle a steady flow of premium land parcels, so your daily work involves consulting with both local investors and diaspora clients, tailoring each pitch around tenure security and growth potential, and keeping every deal legally sound. Your ability to move prospects through a structured sales cycle directly determines the firm's revenue and your own commission earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify leads from multiple channels, building a robust pipeline and meeting aggressive monthly sales quotas for land transactions.
- Organize and host property site visits, highlighting parcel boundaries, topography, accessibility, and surrounding infrastructure to convince serious buyers.
- Engage in detailed investment consultations with high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and diaspora investors, addressing concerns about title status, land use, and payment structures.
- Prepare individualized land investment proposals that clearly connect a buyer's financial objectives with the value of specific plots.
- Drive social media outreach by producing property walkthrough videos and listing promotions across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to generate inbound inquiries.
- Represent the company at expos, networking summits, and industry forums, and conduct virtual presentations for diaspora communities to expand market reach.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, logging every interaction, pipeline stage, and follow-up task for each lead.
- Compile transaction documentation including letters of offer, sale agreements, and KYC paperwork, ensuring strict compliance with Kenyan land conveyance regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related commercial discipline.
- A minimum of five years of verifiable sales experience, with at least a substantial portion dedicated specifically to land or plot transactions in real estate.
- A valid, unexpired passport, since the role may require international travel for diaspora sales roadshows and regional events.
- Solid understanding of Kenya's real estate landscape, including land tenure systems, title deed verification, and legal conveyancing processes.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close high-value land deals with confidence and professionalism.
- Comfort with digital platforms—social media, video tools, and CRM software—for lead generation and pipeline management.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, capable of communicating complex investment details clearly to discerning buyers.
