Role Overview
This sales role sits at the centre of a fast-growing Nairobi real estate firm, where you will guide buyers from first enquiry to signed agreement on residential and commercial properties. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will spend your days prospecting, hosting site visits, presenting development projects, and negotiating high-value sales—all while building a loyal network of property investors and repeat clients. Your success directly shapes the company's revenue growth and market reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new property leads through direct outreach, referrals, digital platforms, and participation in sales events.
- Plan and lead on-site property tours, buyer consultations, and formal presentations across active development projects.
- Negotiate pricing, payment plans, and contract terms within approved limits to close purchases efficiently.
- Maintain a full pipeline of active prospects in the CRM, logging every interaction, follow-up, and deal stage.
- Support clients through the entire purchase journey, coordinating with legal and finance teams on documentation and transfer processes.
- Track local property market trends, competitor activity, and emerging investment hotspots, sharing insights with leadership.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, property expos, and networking functions to attract qualified investor interest.
- Deliver regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance metrics to the Managing Director.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in sales & marketing, business administration, real estate management, or a related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience, with the majority focused on real estate or high-value property transactions.
- A verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and successfully closing property deals.
- Strong knowledge of the Kenyan real estate market, land conveyance procedures, and buyer financing options.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and persuasion skills, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and first-time buyers.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of managing long sales cycles without constant supervision.
- A valid driving licence is an added advantage for conducting site visits across Nairobi and surrounding areas.
