Role Overview
This is a field-based sales role focused on growing the adoption of healthcare products and services among medical professionals and institutional clients. You will manage a defined territory, identify new business opportunities, and build long-term trust with hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies to directly impact the company's revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and position our portfolio of healthcare products and services to medical practitioners, procurement officers, and institutional decision-makers
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads through cold calling, referrals, industry events, and scheduled field visits
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their clinical and purchasing needs, handling objections, and providing tailored product recommendations
- Deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions during client meetings and industry events
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations, negotiate pricing within approved guidelines, and follow up to close deals
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in the company's CRM system
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback, and report insights to the sales manager to inform strategy
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years of proven sales experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical devices sector
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare products, medical terminology, and the local healthcare distribution landscape
- Demonstrated ability to sell consultatively and negotiate effectively with institutional clients and senior medical professionals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive product presentations
- Self-motivated with strong time management, territory planning, and pipeline management skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting platforms
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory
