Role Overview

This position is for a dependable motorcycle rider who will carry out daily delivery assignments with speed, care, and a professional attitude. You will be responsible for picking up items from assigned points and delivering them to customers or drop-off locations while following a set schedule. Your performance directly affects the company’s reputation for reliable service and the overall satisfaction of every recipient you interact with.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up parcels, documents, food orders, or other items from dispatch points and deliver them to the correct destinations within the allotted time.
• Plan each delivery route ahead of time to avoid delays, traffic congestion, and unsafe roads while maintaining efficiency.
• Verify all orders against delivery manifests before departure and confirm that items are properly secured on the motorcycle.
• Obtain proof of delivery, such as signatures, reference numbers, or payment receipts, and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Handle cash or card payments on delivery when required and ensure all collected funds are accounted for at the end of the shift.
• Perform daily checks on the motorcycle, including brakes, tires, lights, oil, and fuel, and report mechanical faults before they become serious problems.
• Follow traffic laws, road signs, and safety protocols consistently, even during peak hours or adverse weather conditions.
• Maintain clear communication with the dispatch office to confirm completed deliveries, receive new assignments, and report any route changes or incidents.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid motorcycle riding license with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
• One to two years of proven experience as a delivery rider or in a similar motorcycle-based courier role.
• Strong familiarity with local roads, shortcuts, and high-traffic zones to make timely deliveries.
• Basic motorcycle maintenance knowledge, including the ability to fix simple issues such as flat tires, chain adjustments, or bulb replacements.
• Good customer service skills with the ability to interact politely and professionally with clients, gate staff, and business contacts.
• Clear verbal communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and confirming details accurately.
• Honest, reliable, punctual, and self-driven, with strong attention to detail in handling items and paperwork.
• Ability to work independently, stick to delivery schedules, and manage your own time without constant supervision.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes, heavy workloads, tight deadlines, and pressure during busy periods.
