- Analyse and synthesise data to identify trends, risks, and policy implications, then contribute to concept notes, country profiles, meeting packages, and internal briefs.
- Support stakeholder mapping and partnership research, including preparing correspondence, meeting materials, and concise briefs that communicate APRA priorities accurately.
- Draft, edit, and format communication products such as talking points, presentations, newsletters, and web or social media content for both internal and external audiences.
- Maintain and update knowledge-management systems, including contact lists, project repositories, calendars, shared files, and databases while applying quality-control and confidentiality standards.
- Assist with planning and logistics for meetings, workshops, and events, including agenda preparation, invitation management, participant materials, note-taking, and action tracking.
- Contribute to engagement materials that articulate APRA’s objectives clearly for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant field such as international relations, economics, public policy, development studies, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, interpret, and synthesise data from multiple sources and present findings in clear written form.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills, with experience distilling complex information for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with stakeholder engagement concepts and the ability to support partnership research and correspondence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using shared online tools for collaboration and knowledge management.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Interest in international development, renewable energy policy, or African regional cooperation is strongly preferred.
