  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, payment promises, and follow-up actions in internal systems.
  • Monitor customer accounts for early signs of risk or disengagement and escalate issues to senior team members.
  • Assist in developing and executing retention campaigns aimed at keeping existing clients active and loyal.
  • Work with portfolio management teams to analyze repayment trends and flag accounts requiring recovery action.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring positive experiences at every touchpoint.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings, contributing ideas to improve client engagement strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • No prior work experience is required, but any internship or volunteer experience in sales, customer service, or finance is an added advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to converse confidently and persuasively.
  • Comfortable using basic computer tools such as spreadsheets, email, and customer management software.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude when dealing with difficult collection conversations.
  • Good organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
  • A willingness to learn practical financial concepts, including credit management, portfolio risk, and customer lifecycle.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a genuine interest in building a career in the financial services sector.
