Job Opening: Productive Use of Energy (PUE) Sales Coordinator

Sector: Solar Energy / Renewable Technology

Contract Type: Full-time

Monthly Salary: Kshs. 150,000

Base Location: Nairobi

Mission Profile

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on PUE Sales Coordinator to bridge the gap between field operations and commercial targets. This role focuses on the "Productive Use of Energy"—supporting solar-powered solutions that generate income for rural and peri-urban customers. You will be responsible for orchestrating field sales teams, managing community mobilization efforts, and ensuring that technical installations meet high quality standards. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader who understands the complexities of rural distribution and can navigate both the administrative and field-level challenges of the renewable energy sector.

Areas of Accountability

Commercial Operations & Team Support

  • Supervise daily sales workflows to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Empower field teams by providing tactical support during the prospecting and deal-closing phases.

  • Design and execute weekly action plans focused on both new sales acquisition and collection efficiency.

  • Monitor real-time performance metrics to ensure the department consistently achieves its growth targets.

Market Mobilization & Community Relations

  • Act as the primary liaison with local authorities and community leaders to build institutional trust.

  • Organize and lead on-ground product demonstrations and mobilization campaigns to drive awareness.

  • Foster high levels of product adoption through direct field engagement and educational activities.

  • Capture accurate GPS data for all installations to maintain precise geographic sales mapping.

Logistics, Installation & After-Sales

  • Synchronize the timely delivery of solar products from the warehouse to the end-user.

  • Oversee the installation lifecycle, ensuring technical teams meet deadlines and quality compliance standards.

  • Manage the after-sales support system, ensuring rapid response to technical issues or customer concerns.

  • Verify the integrity of all customer contracts and documentation, ensuring terms are clearly communicated.

Strategic Reporting & Compliance

  • Generate comprehensive daily and weekly activity reports for the senior management team.

  • Utilize CRM systems to track the sales pipeline and identify bottlenecks in the conversion process.

  • Proactively flag any operational or compliance risks identified during field visits.

Essential Criteria

Academic & Professional Background

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Renewable Energy, or Agriculture. (A Diploma with exceptional field experience may be considered).

  • Experience: 2–4 years of progressive experience in sales coordination, operations, or business development.

  • Sector Knowledge: Proven experience in solar energy, agricultural equipment, or rural distribution is highly desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel) and experience with CRM or sales tracking software.

Core Competencies

  • Field Leadership: Ability to effectively manage and motivate decentralized field sales teams.

  • Coordination: Exceptional skills in order management, logistics, and performance tracking.

  • Communication: Refined interpersonal skills for high-level community engagement and stakeholder management.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret sales data and translate it into actionable field strategies.

Why Join Us

  • Competitive Compensation: A premium monthly salary of Kshs. 150,000.

  • Innovation: Be at the forefront of the renewable energy movement, providing life-changing technology to communities.

  • Professional Scope: A high-impact role with a 360-degree view of sales operations and technical project management.

If you have a track record of driving sales in the renewable energy or agricultural sectors, please submit your CV for the "PUE Sales Coordinator" position. Ensure your experience with field team management and CRM tools is clearly highlighted.
