Tropical Heat is a leading manufacturer of high-quality spices, seasonings, herbs, and masalas. We are committed to purity, potency, and performance in every product. We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our daily manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production of spices, blends, herbs, seasonings, and masalas.
• Manage teams across weighing, blending, grinding, sieving, packing, and line changeovers.
• Execute production plans and ensure consistent adherence to recipes and specifications.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, allergen control, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, FSSC, GMP, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D on new blends, NPD trials, and flavour consistency improvements.
• Maintain batch integrity, traceability, and accurate documentation.
• Reduce losses, improve yields, and strengthen line efficiency and OEE metrics.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with engineering teams to minimise breakdowns.
• Oversee packing machines, labellers, coding systems, and quality checkpoints.
• Develop, coach, and supervise production staff for improved skills and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years’ production experience in spices, powder blends, seasonings, or food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of blending technologies, milling systems, sieving, and powder handling.
• Knowledge of allergen management, flavour integrity, and quality control processes.
• Strong leadership and ability to run multiple lines in a fast-paced environment.
