Description:
A company operating within the interiors and fit-out industry is currently hiring a Procurement Executive to support its procurement and project operations. This role is suitable for a well-organized and proactive professional who understands the fast-paced environment of interior projects and can efficiently manage purchasing activities while maintaining cost efficiency and timely delivery.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing vendors, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring materials are procured according to project timelines and quality standards. Strong coordination skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate vendors while building reliable supplier relationships
- Conduct price negotiations to achieve competitive purchasing terms
- Compare supplier quotations and prepare purchase documentation
- Issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) accurately and on time
- Coordinate closely with site teams and project management staff to understand material requirements
- Monitor procurement timelines to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
- Support cost control initiatives and maintain procurement efficiency throughout projects
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of relevant procurement experience
- Previous experience in interiors or fit-out projects is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proactive approach with the ability to work in a fast-moving project environment
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and suppliers
- Ability to manage procurement documentation and supplier communication effectively
