Seven Seas Matrix Logistics Services LLC is seeking an experienced and results-driven Pricing & Operations Head to join its Dubai operations. This leadership position is ideal for a logistics professional with extensive expertise in freight forwarding, pricing strategy, procurement, and operational management within the UAE market.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing pricing activities, strengthening global agency partnerships, overseeing logistics procurement, and ensuring efficient operational execution. This opportunity is suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess strong industry connections, and can consistently deliver accurate and competitive pricing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently manage a high volume of daily pricing requests, handling approximately 20–30 detailed quotations with accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Prepare competitive freight pricing solutions while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and market conditions.
• Lead import sourcing activities, overseas procurement initiatives, and strategic agency development efforts to support international business growth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with global agents and logistics partners to enhance service capabilities and network expansion.
• Oversee local UAE and GCC land freight procurement operations, ensuring effective transportation planning and coordination.
• Monitor logistics processes and operational performance to ensure smooth movement of shipments and efficient service delivery.
• Collaborate closely with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize pricing structures and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate market trends, freight rates, and industry developments to maintain competitive business offerings.
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities to strengthen vendor partnerships and improve operational performance.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum five years of proven pricing experience within the UAE freight forwarding and logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of freight pricing, logistics operations, procurement processes, and supply chain coordination.
• Established professional network with major shipping lines, NVOCCs, airlines, transport providers, and overseas logistics partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy and service quality.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make informed pricing and operational decisions.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and consistently meet demanding deadlines and business targets.
• Leadership capabilities with experience managing operational workflows and coordinating cross-functional logistics activities.
