Job Description

Job Title: Presales Executive
Industry: Security Systems / IT Solutions
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Gross Salary: KES 50,000 – 60,000 per month

The Role

Our client is seeking a Presales Executive to support the sales process through technical and commercial presales activities while contributing directly to revenue generation. You will prepare proposals, manage tenders, conduct market research, support product demonstrations, and help close deals in the security systems and IT solutions space.

Your Main Duties

  • Work closely with the Sales team to drive successful deal closures.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and develop technical and commercial proposals tailored to client requirements.

  • Manage the bid process, including responding to RFIs, RFPs, and tender submissions.

  • Analyze complex tender documents and address functional and technical requirements.

  • Conduct market research on industry trends, products, and competitors.

  • Support lead qualification and keep sales documentation and collateral up to date.

  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

  • Customize proposals and quotations to meet specific client needs.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive growth.

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market analysis and networking.

  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates on time.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role; experience in software or IT sales is an added advantage.

  • Good understanding of B2B sales processes and tender management.

  • Ability to analyze and prepare technical specifications and proposals.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when required.
