Role Overview
This role is responsible for delivering and maintaining electrical installations and power distribution systems across project sites. By keeping infrastructure safe, compliant, and dependable, the role helps project teams meet technical requirements and maintain reliable power throughout operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and carry out electrical installation work, including power distribution and supporting infrastructure setup.
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment routinely to identify wear, faults, or potential safety concerns.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot power-system issues to support reliable operation and minimise downtime.
- Check that installation and maintenance work meets applicable electrical regulations, codes of practice, engineering standards, and project safety requirements.
- Work with project managers, site engineers, and technical colleagues to confirm power needs and coordinate work with project schedules.
- Address installation or system issues and communicate relevant technical findings to the project team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least three years of experience in electrical installation work.
- Recognised industry certification in electrical installation or equivalent professional credentials, such as EPRA or ERC licensing.
- Working knowledge of electrical safety requirements, relevant codes, power distribution, system inspection, and troubleshooting.
