Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

  • The Pharmacist is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and delivery of pharmaceutical services within the Hospital. The role ensures the safe, effective, economical, and rational use of medicines while maintaining compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and Hospital policies.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution, valid registration with the Pharmacy & Poisons Board, valid practicing license.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in hospital pharmac practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory & pharmaceutical stock management.
  • Experience in supervising staff and coordinating pharmacy operations is an added advantage.
  • Experience using Hospital Information Systems and pharmacy management systems is desirable.
