Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on proper use and side effects.
• Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and potential interactions.
• Manage and maintain accurate patient medication profiles using Health Management Information Systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize drug therapy and patient outcomes.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals, and minimize waste.
• Adhere strictly to all regulatory requirements set by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• Participate in patient education, health promotion, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
• Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and interns as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
• Experience: At least 3 years of post-internship working experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Licensing: Registered and with a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, especially Health Management Information Systems.
• Soft Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
