Clara Rosa Hospital Utawala is a leading healthcare facility committed to providing quality and compassionate care. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our pharmacy team.

About the Role

As a Pharmaceutical Technologist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, managing inventory, and supporting our pharmacy operations. You will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Provide patient counselling on proper medication usage, side effects, and storage.
• Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory using the HMIS/pharmacy inventory systems.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of pharmaceutical products.
• Assist in stock-taking, ordering, and reconciling of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and dispense logs.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
• Valid practising PPB licence with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience working with HMIS/pharmacy inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
