WEX is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Specialist I to join its team in North Dakota, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and processing claims for employer benefit plans while ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and specific employer plan requirements.
This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will support claims operations, resolve issues, assist with process improvements, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain efficient claim processing workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process daily claims accurately and efficiently.
• Review and process various FSA claim types.
• Determine claim eligibility using available resources and guidelines.
• Ensure workload priorities and turnaround times are maintained.
• Handle and process claim appeals.
• Troubleshoot software-related issues when required.
• Assist with additional operational activities and department projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Support Claims Supervisors with assigned projects.
• Help develop and improve processes, procedures, and operational practices.
• Communicate required process changes and updates.
• Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
