A reputable organization in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with hands-on experience in the construction sector. This role is ideal for someone who understands the complexities of managing payroll for a large, site-based workforce and is well-versed in UAE payroll systems and regulations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, and maintaining compliance with UAE labor laws. The role also requires close coordination with multiple departments to gather and validate payroll inputs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for a large workforce, particularly within construction environments
• Accurately calculate overtime, allowances, deductions, and other payroll components
• Manage site-wise salary allocations and ensure proper cost distribution
• Prepare and submit WPS (Wages Protection System) files in a timely manner
• Maintain organized payroll records and ensure compliance with UAE labor regulations
• Coordinate with HR, accounts, and site teams to collect and verify payroll data
• Generate payroll reports and investigate discrepancies when needed
Requirements:
• Proven track record in payroll processing within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of overtime calculations and site-based payroll structures
• Practical experience with WPS preparation and processing
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws and payroll compliance requirements
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
