Role Overview

This role focuses on designing and delivering practical, certification-aligned training that builds both professional and technical capability. The trainer works closely with academic and programme teams to shape short courses and modules around real programme needs, then facilitates intensive sessions where participants apply concepts through hands-on work. The position matters because it links industry standards and emerging tools directly to the learning experience, helping participants develop skills they can use in professional settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead practical sessions and compact, high-intensity workshops covering subjects such as financial modelling, Excel, Power BI, project management tools, governance, and other professional skills.
• Work with academic and programme teams to identify training needs, tailor short courses or modules, and embed professional skills and certification-aligned content into relevant programmes.
• Build hands-on demonstrations, exercises, case studies, and practical assignments that strengthen participants’ applied skills.
• Make sure training content and learning activities match the standards and requirements set by relevant professional certifications and industry bodies.
• Gauge how well participants understand and apply concepts by using exercises, projects, assessments, and other suitable evaluation methods.
• Keep reliable records of training activity, review feedback and learning results, and propose changes that will strengthen later sessions.
• Refresh training materials, examples, and practical exercises so they reflect new industry practices, tools, standards, and technologies.
• Give participants clear, constructive feedback and guidance that helps them grow professionally and technically.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
• Recognised professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CPA-K, CFA, Power BI, Excel, or ISO.
• At least five years of training or corporate experience.
• Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate practical, certification-aligned training and workshops.
• Strong command of financial modelling, Excel, Power BI, project management tools, governance, and related professional skills.
• Commitment to high-quality training and to maintaining a positive learning environment for participants.
• Ability to assess learning outcomes, use participant feedback, and refine training content accordingly.
• Capacity to keep training materials current with emerging industry practices, tools, standards, and technologies.
